Denise's portrait of my Abyssinian, Alex, captured his incredibly unique and wonderfully intense character.  It's amazing to me - when I look at the painting,  I immediately see Alex's innate sense of curiosity and his ability to communicate so clearly with humans.  It's as if he is telling me something important each time I look at his little face in the portrait!  Now that Alex has moved on to a "better place" after a long and full life - Denise's painting means even more to me now than I ever imagined it could when Alex was alive.  I am so glad she was able to capture Alex and his precious personality on canvas before he left us!  I truly cherish it.
