After a week long trip cross country with my dog, Cassie, I decided to shift gears in my career in order to experience a more authentic life. That decision brought me back to school where I focused on self healing practices. This became my pathway to a heart centered life with purpose and meaning. I became a holistic self healing practices guide and teacher to help others find their own way to live a genuine and passionate life.
As I was finding my footing on this new path, I was in an accident which proved to be a life changing experience limiting my movement and my work. It proved to be a dynamic turning point in a life that had already experienced more changes, turns and moves than most people. I experienced for the first time in my life, the physical pain of injury with the emotional frustration and anxiety of the limitations they caused. This resulted in a new awareness and compassion for others suffering with injury and physical limitations. I became determined to find a way ‘out’ of the bonds of pain and restriction.
Through a self made program integrating nutrition and other self healing practices – I found a new creative expression that cleared pain, emotional and physical, and brought a deep mind-body-spirit healing. It is now my intention to share these findings and help you heal your life, and the pain you may suffer from past memories or events.
Self healing practices, especially creative practices and meditation, are at the heart and soul of my work and life. The holistic self healing practices I’ve learned, experienced, and teach, produce profound changes and positive shifts for living. I know the impact of change on the body, mind, and heart and the ways to stay in tune with and go with it so you can seize opportunity for positive growth inside every new moment.
In my book, Heal from Your Heart with Breath, Rhyme and Art, self healing practices are introduced to help you deal with changes, pain or loss as they occur. The practices are ways to comfortably process emotions and clear away the blocks in your path to happiness and health. After writing this book, I wrote 3 more. I am now coaching clients who want to tell their story and want it in a beautiful presentation.
